Moodbidri, Nov 23: The annual feast of Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri was celebrated with pomp and gaiety on November 23.
Fr Dr Joseph Martis, the Parish Priest of Derebail Church was the chief celebrant with other co-celebrants. In his homily, F rMartis stressed on the sacrifice Jesus made in His death which was foreshadowed in His last supper. Jesus is present through His body and blood by which He nourishes human souls and bodies, he said.
The priests of the deanery, guest priests, religious sisters and a large number of parishioners and devotees were present for the celebration.
