Puttur: Man enters house, attempts to outrage modesty of woman in front of husband, assaults

Puttur, Nov 25: A case is registered in Uppinangady police station of the taluk according to the complaint filed by Jameela, resident of Mudijaalu of Barya village of Belthangady taluk, in which she has accused Sahad of attempting to outrage her modesty in front of her husband and assaulting her husband with wooden log when he tried to prevent Sahad from misbehaving with his wife.

In her complaint, Jameela said, “Sahad, who entered our house forcefully, tried to outrage my modesty. My husband Aboobacker tried to restrict him. Enraged, Sahad went out of the house, picked a wooden log and hit my husband on his face, head and waist and also threatened him with life. My husband Aboobacker who is seriously injured is admitted to hospital in Mangaluru.”

Uppinangady police are investigating further.
