Udupi, Nov 25: Following public complaints the Regional Transport office has directed passenger buses heading to Udupi mentioned as Nittur NH 17 as per the directions of the deputy commissioner to ply from NH66 Karavali bypass via Ambalapadi By pass Brahmagiri-Ajjarkadu-Taluk office and the remaining buses to proceed via Ambagilu – Tangadagadi – Gundibail, reach Kalsanka turn to the left near Brandavan Hotel turn to the right near Khafia hotel and reach the bus stand.
The shuttle service buses approaching from Barkur-Brahmavar-Honnala-Hebri-Perdoor-Kukkehalli and other places should reach Kalsanka via Ambagilu Gundibail.
A press release from the RTO has warned of legal action against buses that do not adhere to the route.
