Mangaluru, Mar 12: Sacred Heart Church Surathkal staged 'Havn Sath Sangtha', a religious drama on the theme of resurrection, on March 12 at the church premises.
The resurrection of Jesus serves as the basis for the religious drama which is written by Dr Ronald Serrao, rector St Joseph's Seminary Jeppu and directed by Joel Periera, Bejai. More than 800 people watched the drama.
Fr Austine Peter Peres, parish priest Sacred Heart Church Surathkal and vicar forane of Surathkal Vicariate welcomed the gathering and felicitated the director of the drama and the benefactors.
Fr Richard D'Souza, Socius, Sacred Heart Church Surathkal gave the introduction about the drama. The event started off with a prayer dance by young people from ICYM Surathkal unit.
Russell Roche vice president PPC, and Asha Pinto the secretary of PPC were present on the dais.
