Udupi: Fire breaks out in shop dealing in scrap, goods worth lacs gutted

Udupi, Mar 15: Plastic and other items caught fire all of a sudden in a scrap shop at Udupi in the wee hours on Wednesday March 15.

The scrap shop is located near Swagata Gopura at Kinnimulki, Udupi.

Plastic and other goods were destroyed.

Fire brigade personnel struggled hard in the night and doused the fire. The loss is estimated to be in lacs.
