Udupi, Mar 15: The Udupi CMC has requested people to use water judiciously in the district.

“There is scarcity of water in the municipal council limits before the start of summer. The storage of water at Baje dam of Swarna River that supplies water to the council limits is very less. As demand for drinking water has been rising day by day, people should avoid usage of drinking water for other purposes. They should save water giving priority for its limited use and cooperate with the municipal council," requested municipal council president Sumitra R Nayak.
