Mangaluru, March 15: Karnataka state governor Thavar Chand Gehlot visited the historic Someshwara Temple here on Wednesday.

Temple committee president B Ravindranath Rai welcomed him. The governor offered special pooja to the deity and released the invitation for the annual procession of the temple.

Deputy commissioner Ravikumar M R, Mangaluru city police commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain, temple executive officer Shwetha Palli, committee members and priests were present.
