Dubai: Vamanjooreans to Present 'Tunes in Dunes' Musical Fiesta on May 18

Dubai, May 3: Vamanjooreans UAE are all set to present musical fiesta 'Tunes in Dunes' at Sheraton Deira Hotel, Dubai on May 18 from 11 am.

Mangaloreans are known for their music, dance and good food. On this day a close knit, warm group of Mangaloreans from Vamanjoor in UAE will be uniting and celebrating with music, dance and mouth watering cuisine.

The event will be graced by Msgr Edwin Pinto DSD, Canada (Chaplain to Pope Benedict XVI, founder of Helpers of Mount Rosary and Vamanjoor parish). Also attending the event will be Rachana Award winner and Mother General of SRA Sr Maria Goretti, truly a wonderful blessing to the fiesta.

Shining stars of the Konkani music world like 'Voice of Konkani' Rony D’Cunha from Kuwait, 'Queen of Konkani Singing' Preema D’Souza, 'Dubai’s Goan Sensation' Maria, 'Mandd Sobhan Star' Joy Fernandes, 'Gulf Voice of Mangalore' first runner up Warren D'Souza, and Donald Correa will brighten the stage with feet tapping music.

As a special attraction Avin Mascarenhas, the youngest music director from Vamanjoor of Team Imperials will be directing the whole show. Adding glitz and glamour will be Arun’s Feet Beat Group. The Vamanjooreans believe laughter is the best medicine; to add spice to the show, and young playwright, director and ace comedy actor Nellu Permannur will present comedy skits to have the audience in laughter. The programme will be compered by internationally famed Ronald Olivera in his unique and scintillating style.

Organizers have already started issuing the entry passes, which will be limited. To avoid last moment disappointment organizers have requested to tickets now only.

Organizers also informed daijiworld that there will not be a single minute delay in starting the programme, which will begin at 11am. There will be special prizes for those who enter the venue first.
