Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust pays tribute to Mizar Sadananda Pai

Mangalore, Apr 19: A condolence meet was held in memory of Mizar Sadananda Pai by the Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust at Srinivasa Kalyana Mantap, Mangalore on Friday April 18 at 5 pm.

Mizar Shivananda Pai, son and Mizar Annappa Pai, brother of the late Sadananda Pai were present for the meet.

T Ganapathi Pai, the secretary of the Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust spoke and said, “We have lost a great philanthropist; he was a person who always thought about the welfare of the economically backward segments of the society. Sadananda Pai had a keen interest in helping the society mainly in three areas: education, health care and promoting value education amongst the youngsters.”

He said that through the trust Sadananda Pai and his family have every year helped thousands of students by giving them scholarships.  The trustees of the Shree Venkataramana Temple, Padmanabha Pai, Dr Mohan Pai, Venkatesha Baliga, Kalbavi Prakash Rao, A K Manjunath Shenoy and a few students who were the beneficiaries of the scholarships provided by the trust also spoke and paid tribute to the departed soul.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mizar Annappa Pai said, “I am proud to be the brother of such a great person. Our family will continue to walk in the steps of our departed brother and help the people in need.”

M Nagesh Pai, Basty Vaman Shenoy, members of the GSB Sabha Kodical and the ASRP association, well wishers and students took part in the condolence meet.
