Moodbidri: 'Mahamayi' Kannada Play by Alva's First PU Students Enthralls Audience

Moodbidri, Sep 4: The first and second performances of Kannada play, 'Mayamayi', were staged by the first PU students of Alva's College here, at the Padmavati Kalamantap of the college here on two consecutive days, recently.  The play, directed by well-known director Jeevaram Sullia, has bagged eight state and national awards. The performances won the hearts as well as applause of the audience.  

Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva's Education Foundation, speaking on the occasion, said that the play by the newly-formed troupe of the first PU students of the college had indeed come off very well under the guidance of ace director Jeevanram Sullia.

It was informed that another play titled 'Mracchakatika,' will be selected for the inter-collegiate and inter-university competitions during the annual extravaganza by the degree students of the college.
