Mangalore, Sep 4: Dr Shivanand Bekal, assistant station director AIR inaugurated the Student's Council of Sarsa College here recently.
Addressing the students, he said that Sarsa is a third college in the district which introduced fine arts while others opt for technology-based vocational courses. These kind of initiatives will enrich the culture of the district.
Fr Valerian, director and principal of Sandesha was the chief guest. Dr Hima Urmila Shetty, trustee, Dr MV Memorial Trust, Dr Arathy H Shetty, principal, Sarsa College of Arts and Science, Dr MV Shetty Memorial Trust, Jayalaxmi Alva, senior dancer and director of Sri Devi Nrithya Kendra were present.
