Bangalore, Sep 7: The state government led by chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will be completing  its 100 days in office on Tuesday September 9. It is planning to come before the people, with a list of its achievements during this period and also future plans, under the head, 'Strong Foundation for a Grand Future'.

Chief minister Yeddyurappa held consultations with senior state government officials, as soon as he returned from 'AKKA' convention in USA. The government, coming under bitter attack from the opposition for its failure on many fronts, is planning to issue certificates to beneficiaries under various schemes announced in the recent budget and showcase the achievements of the government.

The government wants to prove, that it has not wilted under criticisms and brickbats it received towards the initial uncertainty, 'operation Kamala', death of farmer in firing during agitation against fertiliser shortage, lackadaisical management of situation arising out of excessive rains and drought-like situation, etc.,

The chief minister's plans also gain significance because of the fact that the national executive of the BJP is being held in the city from September 12 onwards. In the main function scheduled to be held at the Banquet Hall of Vidhan Soudha, the chief minister will be releasing a book on the achievements during the last 100 days, besides an audio cassette. Another function will be organised regarding issues relating to Bangalore City Corporation. District-wise functions will be also held, in which in-charge ministers will release the works and audio cassettes.

At the same time, JD(S) state president Merajuddin Patel said, that his party will launch potests titled 'Fake Promises, Failed Execution,' to highlight the failures of the state government in all the districts on Monday September 8.

Opposition leader in the legislative council V S Ugrappa has said, that the only achievement of the government is the issuance of a thousand transfer orders to the government employees, within 100 days of rule.
