Mangalore, Sep 8: A cultural conference was held at Ravindra Kalabhavan, on Sunday September 7, under the aegis of the city branch of Maha Jagadguru Basavanna Math and the Kannada and culture department.
Sri Shivaprakash Swamiji of Jangam Math, Gurpur, presided over the function. Dr N Mogasale, president, Kannada Sangh Kantavar, Sri Prajaya Basavananda Swamiji of Chikmagalur, Sujata Sudhakar, and Latish, were present on the occasion.
Vijayalakshmi Yalagacha said the prayer while Jagannathappa V Panasale delivered the introductory speech. Sunandavva Jagannathappa Panasale, welcomed the gathering. Baikady Janardhan Achar, and Lalita Shivanna, compered the programme.
