Bangalore, Sep 8: The Banaswadi Konkani Sangh celebrated `Monthichem Fest’ at the Vincent Palloti Church, Bangalore.  Around 100 children participated in honouring Mother Mary by showering flowers in the morning.  After blessing the new harvest, Fr Charles celebrated the High Mass in Konkani. Fr Clement delivered homily, Fr Paul & Fr Martis concelebrated the ceremony.

This was followed by cultural programme consisting of dance, songs, skits and games.   The parish priest Fr Philip whilst speaking appreciated the Mangalorean community for the outstanding performance in every field especially in religious section, by providing many priests & nuns.  Elwell D’Souza conducted the melodious Konkani choir & also participated in couple of acts on the stage.

The blessed corn mixed with coconut milk was served to all those participated in the feast of harvest. The programme concluded with baila dance. Delicious vegetarian lunch was served to all the audience to celebrate the feast.
