Mangalore, Sep 9: An entry by B N Manorama, lecturer in the department of journalism, St Aloysius College in the city, has been adjudged as the best in a competition organized by the fifth AKKA World Kannada Conference in USA.

Her article, 'Pradarshaka Kalegalalli Kannadigara Fusion Parampare,' has been included in the AKKA work conference souvenir. Manorama got a reward of US$ 200 for the prize winning entry. Manorama is also the editor of bi-monthly magazine on classical dances named 'Nupura Bhramari'.
