Udupi, Sep 11: President of the Udupi district unit of Savita Samaj Bannanje Govind Bhandary demanded at a press conference held here on Wednesday September 10 that the state should set up separate development corporation for the benefit of barbers of the state who are identified in the state with various nomenclatures like Nayinda, Bhandary, Hadapad, Saita, Mahale etc.

Leaders of all these communities have formed the State Barber Community Reservation Union for fighting for reservation facilities for the barbers.
