Udupi: Drusti Gallery to Host Exhibition of Mohan Permude Paintings

Udupi, Sep 12: A solo art exhibition by popular artist Mohan Permude, will be inaugurated at Drusti gallery at 10.30 am on Saturday September 14 by Virupaksha K C, assistant commissioner of commercial taxes, Mangalore. The exhibition will have 'Anantadatta' as the theme.



The programme will be presided over by Ramesh Rao, president of district artists forum. G Ramakrishna Achar, managing partner of SKF Industries, Moodbidri, will be the chief guest. The exhibition will be open to the public on Tuesday September 16, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Permude has won several awards for his work including one from Lalit Kala Academy. He was inspired to take up painting by veteran artist Tonse Taranat Pai, a resident of Bajpe.
