Udupi, Sep 13: A woman from Madumbu of Innanje village died after she was crushed by a train on Thursday September 11.
The lady, identified as Kalyani Acharti(75), wife of late Venkappa Achary, was collecting grass grown near the railway tracks located near Madumbi Ganapati temple of Innanje village, when she was hit by a train. It is said, that she was suffering from hearing loss and could not sense the arrival of the train.
