Sri Laxmivarateerta Swami of Shiroor Math, inaugurated ‘Sundara Udupi, Subhadra Udupi’ campaign at the function held at Sri Krishna Math Rajangan, here on Sunday September 14 evening.
 
Union minister of labour and employment Oscar Fernandes, was the chief guest of the occasion, said that Sri Krishna Math renowned for communal harmony in the entire country since ages.  At the prevailing situation in the country, the security has become a most essential a necessity.  It’s the sense of duty to strive for our own security along with prayers, in order to curb social evils and terrorist attacks. 
 
Sri Sugunendrateerta Swami of Paryaya Puttige Math inaugurated the website of security provider V Raksha, who has installed state of the art surveillance systems in Sri Krishna campus.
 
Municipal councilor Dinakar Shetty, former chairman of Prasar Bharati M V Kamath, deputy commissioner Hemalata P, superintendent of police Praveen Madhukar Pawar, Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti founder president Tonse Jayakrishna Shetty, Dasharat and Anant of V Raksha were present at the dais.
