Mangalore, Sep 14: The harvest festival of Onam was celebrated in a wholly traditional manner at the Fr Muller campus. The hostels in the campus were decorated and the customary 'pookalam' had the place of honour. Students dressed in 'Kerala sarees' added to the festive mood.

Lunch served in the hostels had the dishes prepared at any ‘Onasadhya’. The appetizing meal was served on plantain leaves with about 15 different kinds of preparations. 'Payasam', the dessert, served last, marked the completion of the meal.
