Mangalore, Sep 17: Some miscreants assaulted municipal corporator Sharat at Kavoor on Tuesday September 16. The BJP corporator was injured in the incident.

The reason for the assault is unknown. Kavoor police arrested two persons belonging to the Karnataka Forum for Dignity in connection with the corporator’s assault, informed police sources. A few days ago, in a similar incident, a certain Mohammed was stabbed at Kalladka. He is now recovering in a city hospital.
