Mumbai: Foundation Stone Laid for Kannada Bhavan at Charkop

Mumbai, Oct 21: MLA Gopal C Shetty laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Kannada Bhavan of Charkop Kannadiga Balaga, at suburban Kandivali (West), recently.



 
Vidhwan Kairabettu Vishwanath Bhat conducted the rituals and Kannadiga Balaga president Bhaskar Sarapady and his wife participated in the puja. Lawyer Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty presided over the stage programme held at Ek Veer School auditorium.
 
Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna, Bunts’ Association president Aikala Harish Shetty, AHAAR vice-president Yermal Harish Shetty, Malad Kannada Sangh president Harish M Shetty, Kandivali Kannada Sangh president Jayapal Shetty, hotelier P K Salian, Kalattoor Vishwanath Shetty, K D Shetty, Purushottam Kuppepadav, Gopal Putran, lawyer Sanjeev Kanchan, Ashok Purohit, Chandrashekar Palettady , editor, ‘Karnataka Malla’, social worker Gunapal Santosh D Shetty Nerul, conveners Karnoor Mohan Rai, and Ashok Pakkala, were also present.
