Udupi, Oct 30: Bhatkal MLA J D Naik, who had been grievously injured in a major accident, after the vehicle in which he was travelling collided with a Mumbai-bound bus on October 22, is recovering fast. He has almost recovered completely, and is expected to be discharged within a couple of days.
Hospital sources which gave this information also said that Shailendra and Bhaskar, the aides of the MLA who too were involved in this accident, too have recovered. They are being treated for orthopaedic complications, and will be discharged within a few days, they said.
Nagesh Naik, the other man injured in the accident, however, continues to be in the intensive care unit of Manipal Hospital. He underwent a facial surgery on October 28.
