Bantwal: Karate - Key to Face Day-to-day Challenges

Bantwal, Nov 3: The 19th state-level inter Dojo Karate Championship- 2008 was organized by the Institute of Karate and Allied Arts of Ullal and Garodi  at Sharada Niketan in Ullal near the city recently.

Speaking on the occasion MLA U T Khader said that Karate helps people to face challenges in society. A person trained in Karate witnesses improved discipline and self confidence levels, which are necessary for facing challenges, he added.

R K Ullal of Sharada Seva Trust presided over the function.

Head of Mangalore Karate and Allied Arts Pravin Kumar, temple trustee and entrepreneur Vijay Ullal, social activist Ankit, Susheela Shettigar, Suresh Kumar, organizer of the championship Vinod Ullal, Kamalaksha B N, Karate trainer Anand Devadiga, Balakrishna Alva and Suresh were present.
