Mangalore: Amma to Visit in City on Feb 18

Mangalore, Feb 9: Mata Amritanandamayi, popularly known among her disciples as 'Amma,' will participate in the first anniversary celebrations of Brahmastana Temple located in Boloor here, on Wednesday February 18, informed  Dr Jeevaraj Sorake, president, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, speaking at a press conference held in the city  on Saturday February 7.

The mass puja for Rahudosha Nivarana and Shanidosha Nivarana will be performed during her visit, under Amma's guidance, he added.

Apart from this, the mass 'Lalita Sahasranama Archana' will be performed on the occasion. The devotees will be allowed to seek Amma’s blessings personally on both Wednesday February 18 and Thursday February 19 from 10 am onwards, he said. 

Ramesh Kotian, Vasudev Boloor, Madhav Suvarna and Suresh Rao were present at the press conference.
