Cock and Bull story. First of all a minor cannot get converted without the consent of his / her parents. What a cheap gimmick by the BJP to malign the other community. Since the Elections are nearing many such wicked and disgraceful acts will be followed by BJP. Wait n Watch.

Well said, Lydia Lobo, what is the problem ? The other day a Russian couple got married in hindu style and was photographed garlanding a cow. Was there any protest from any other religion? Why? Because it was voluntary. Similarly, a girl from UP married a dog to ward off evil spirits, it seems ! What about the poor people of lower caste who are killed for drawing water to drink from a well belonging to a higher caste?

Yet, these same higher caste people do not hesitate to rape the women of this same lower caste ! Can there be any greater evil than this ? Where are the protectors of women and culture ? Rise up India, the whole world is watching, especially those who do not want India to become a superpower. It is time we become good human beings first and unitedly work towards building a Great Nation. TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT !

Well, she was asked to convert, she rejected. What a big issue is it ? Are a particular community so weak in their ethics the they will be attracted towards such persuasions ? RSS/SRS under-estimate the capacity of their own people and blame other religions for conversions. All those converted from Hindu are towards Buddhism owing intolerable cast-difference. Even today there is a report on TOI of Dalits being made to drink cow urine to purify themselves for participating in a Yagna.

Is this incident not enough proof for "forceful converstion" taking place? And who knows that CPM MLA's daughter also would have become a victim.
