Nirani approves 35 industrial proposals for Rs 1,747.37 crore investment

Bengaluru, Oct 22: Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani has approved 35 proposals for setting up industrial ventures with a total investment of Rs 1,747.37 crore.

Nirani chaired a meeting of the State-level single window clearance committee at Udyog Mitra on Friday evening and said the new proposals were expected to generate 4,904 jobs.

The State-level single window clearance committee, which is empowered to clear industrial investment proposals up to Rs 50 crore, has given the approval for the setting up of 8 major ventures involving a total investment of Rs 949.11 crore with employment creation of 2,461, Nirani said.

Commerce and Industries Department Additional Chief Secretary E B Ramana Reddy, Commerce and Industries Department Commissioner Gunjan Krishna and other senior officials attended the meeting.
