Udupi: Devotee’s wallet stolen at Sri Krishna Math, Rs 1.24 lac lost

Udupi, Oct 24: A woman's wallet containing things worth lac of rupees was stolen from the premises of Sri Krishna Math on Sunday.

Sudha Parimala (52), a resident of Rajarajeshwari Nagar of Bengaluru had arrived in the city with family members to get Darshan of Lord Krishna. The family had gone inside the math. After a while when Sudha saw her handbag, someone had opened it and stolen the wallet kept inside the bag.

The wallet had golden Kariyamani chain, Rs 4500 cash, ATM cards and Aadhar card. The total value of the lost items is estimated at Rs 1.24 lac.
