Bantwal: Girl student suffers severe headache, dies

Bantwal, Oct 25: A girl student, resident of Manchi village in the taluk was suffering from severe headache from the past few days. She was admitted to Bantwal hospital and while shifting her for higher treatment to Mangaluru, she died on the way on Monday.

Bhavya (20), daughter of Rathi Kulal, resident of Mannaguli in Manchi village is the unfortunate student who lost her life. She was studying in first grade college of Puttur. She had taken medicine from a local doctor for the continuous headache she was suffering. However, on October 24 around 7 pm her condition got worse and she vomited.

On Monday, she was taken to Bantwal government hospital and as per the advice of the doctor over there, Bhavya was shifted to Mangaluru Wenlock hospital. However, on the way she succumbed.
