Mangaluru, Nov 15: State level co-operative week as part of 69th all India level co-operative week will be held on November 18 at Karavali Utsav ground, informed president of SCDCC Bank Dr Rajendra Kumar.
Minister for cooperation ST Somashekar will inaugurate the event. Sahakara Rathna award will be presented by district in-charge minister Sunil Kumar. Best Navodaya cooperative society award will be presented by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. MLAs G T Devegowda, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Dr Bharath Y Shetty and U T Khader, mayor Jayanand Anchan and others will be present.
Before the function, a vehicle rally with 20 tableaux will be carried out from SCDCC Bank to Karavali Utsav ground.
Sahakara Rathna will be presented to 5 eminent personalities namely Konkody Padmanabha, Nithyananda Mundodi, Dambhekana Sadashiv Rai, Jayakara Shetty Indrali and Yashpal Suvarna.
