Kundapur: Insulator vehicle-lorry collision – No injuries, vehicles badly mangled

Kundapur, Nov 17: Insulator vehicle and a lorry collided near Koome road on NH 66 at Thekkatte on Wednesday, November 16. Luckily, no one got injured but both vehicles got badly damaged.

Around 1.15 am on Wednesday, driver of the insulator vehicle, which was carrying fish from Malpe port to Manoor fish meal factory, took sudden right turn without any indicator use. As a result, the lorry that was plying to Hubballi carrying coke collided with the insulator vehicle.

Due to the impact of the collision, all the boxes in the insulator vehicle were thrown on the road and fish got scattered. Front portion of both vehicles were badly mangled. Kota police visited the spot and are investigating further.
