Udupi: DC submits report to govt for naming of main junctions, circles after dignitaries

Udupi, Nov 18: Following appeals from the local people and public requesting to name the main junctions and the circles in Udupi after dignitaries, the deputy commissioner has held discussions in the municipal council meeting, taken decisions and submitted a report to the government that there are no objections to them.

Likewise, the government has directed in the joint release of the administrative directorate named Bannanje circle as Narayanaguru circle, Kalsanka circle as Madhwacharya circle, Diana circle as Vadiraja circle, Santhekatte Kallianpura junction as Koti Chennayya circle, Brahmagiri big circle as Oscar Fernandes circle and the circle in between Parkala to Kodange and Kodange to Saralabettu at Sri Ram circle.
