Udupi: Unemployed PFI members involved in terror activities – Mahesh Tenginakayi

Udupi, Nov 22: “Former activists of PFI who have lost their jobs after a ban on their organisation have become revengeful and are indulging in terrorist activities against the BJP government,” alleged Mahesh Tenginakayi, chief secretary of state BJP.

“Siddaramaiah had released 1,680 PFI activists from jail when he was the chief minister. The government at the centre has banned PFI now. The cooker bomb incident at Mangaluru is orchestrated because of it,” he alleged.

He was speaking at a news conference held at the Country Inn Hotel, Manipal on Tuesday, November 22.

“The cooker bomb explosion in Mangaluru was similar to that in Coimbatore. The government there has not taken suitable action against it. The incident at Mangaluru would not have happened if that case was handed over to the NIA,” he said.

“Siddaramaiah had challenged the BJP to ban the PFI. The BJP government has shown its capacity by banning the PFI. It also has the capacity to control terrorist activities of the PFI,” he said.

“BJP will win 150 seats in the state Assembly elections. Huge rallies are already being held to prepare for it at Doddaballapur, Kalburgi and Bellary. SC/ST morcha meetings, backward class meetings at Shivamogga, farmers meetings at Hubballi, minority morcha at Vijayapur and ladies morcha rallies at Bengaluru will be held in the future,” he said.

“Rahul Gandhi who conducted Bharat Jodo rally could not unite D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah in Karnataka,” he said.

BJP district in-charge Kidiyoor Udaya Kumar Shetty and district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak were present.
