Mangaluru: Sexual harassment of minor – Accused acquitted

Mangaluru, Dec 11: The court acquitted accused in the case of sexual harassment of a minor girl.

Harish Achari is the accused who is acquitted by the FTSC-1 court.

It was accused that Harish had enticed a girl, who was living with her mother at Katipalla and sexually harassed her on the pretext of getting married. A case was registered against the accused in Surathkal police station.

Justice Manjula Itti who conducted the inquiry pronounced that the prosecution has failed to prove the accusation and acquitted accused Harish.

Lawyers Venu Kumar and Yuvaraj K Amin argued for the prosecution.
