Beltangady: Atrocity on young lawyer – Punjalakatte PSI suspended

Beltangady, Dec 12: Suthesh Kumar, station PSI of Punjalakatte police station was suspended by western range IGP on the accusation of conducting atrocity on young lawyer Kuldeep.

Bar associations of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts had held protests against the atrocity and urged for suspension of PSI.

Kuldeep was allegedly arrested from his house late in the night by PSI Suthesh in connection with a civil dispute and was manhandled by the PSI on the way. Suthesh was transferred from Punjalakatte station to SP office after the incident.
