Mangaluru: NSUI to hold protest against union govt on Dec 17

Mangaluru, Dec 15: "The National Students Union of India (NSUI) will observe all college bandh in the district on Saturday, December 17," said NSUI district president Saavad Sullia.

He was addressing a press meet at Congress Bhavan here on Thursday December 15.

He further said, "Students are in confusion due to the National Educational Policy (NEP) of the BJP-led union government. They are facing several problems including delay in scholarships and results. So, all PU, degree and PG colleges will be closed on Saturday December 17.”

He also added that the private bus fare has been increased and students are facing problems.

The NSUI will burn the effigy of the education minister and hold severe protest by blocking roads, he informed.
