Kasargod: Tribunal orders to pay Rs 1.15 crore compensation to boy seriously injured in accident

Kasargod, Dec 17: The principal Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (MACT) of the district ordered to pay Rs 1.15 crore compensation to a five-year-old boy, who was seriously injured in an accident.

The tribunal in its verdict ordered Oriental Insurance Company to pay the sum to Advith, son of Ajay Kumar, resident of Pallikere Pakam and native of Munnad Kundupara House.

On September 24, 2018, Advith, along with his parents, was coming back in the car after visiting Parassinikadavu temple when their car fell into a gorge. The injured boy was admitted to hospital.
