Brahmavar, Dec 19: Confraternity Sunday was marked ahead of the annual feast of Holy Family Church here on Sunday December 18.

Fr Joel Lopez, director Dayalbagh Ashram Ujire in his homily said, "Confraternity Sunday is an inspiration to all others celebrating Sundays. We spread the inspiration we receive on all the other days. There are seven wonders of the Eucharist. The first wonder of the Eucharist is, Eucharist has supreme love. It has a valuable treasure in it. No treasure of the world can be compared with it. Eucharist is a bond between God and us in this world. Through the body and blood of Jesus Christ, it becomes a great food to us. Eucharist is a supreme gift. It is an ongoing miracle. Every time we celebrate the Eucharist, a miracle happens in this world. Eucharist is an investment with returns. The Eucharist helps us in attaining heavenly peace. Holy family is the first tabernacle.”

Adoration and public procession of the Holy Eucharist was also held. Large number of faithful participated in the Eucharistic celebration.

Fr John Fernandes, OFM Cap parish priest Brahmavar thanked everyone who supported in organizing the procession and other related works.

Fr Charles Saldhanha, Fr Joquem D’Souza, Fr Dominic Veigas, Fr Mark Saldhanha, and Fr Lenson Lobo concelebrated the Eucharistic celebrations.
