Bengaluru: FKCA celebrates Silver Jubilee year

Bengaluru, Dec 19: A curtain raiser programme on the occasion of Silver Jubilee year of FKCA was organized on Sunday, December 11 at Konkan Samudai Bhavan, Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru. The Presidents, Secretaries and council members of the member associations participated in the program.

The programme began with prayer and blessing by Fr Francis Assisi Almeda who is the spiritual director of FKCA. The chairman Silvian Noronha welcomed the chief guest, the guest of honour and the gathering.

To mark this special event on the 25th year of FKCA, 25 lighted lamps were brought in on to the dias in a procession by the chief guest, the guest of honour, the chairman, the council members of FKCA and the presidents of member associations.

Anil Rego, the director of Brilliant Printers Pvt Ltd and Adrian D’Souza, the director of Deccan Group of Companies, presented Silver Jubilee year objectives and the road map with action plan. The chief guest, Clifford Pereira (Board Member, Associated Broadcasting Company Pvt Ltd) in his speech, gave valuable suggestions to achieve the objectives of Silver Jubilee year. The guest of honour Richard Vincent D’Souza (IAS) in his speech emphasized on the importance of team work and commitment. CONCAB cultural team gave a beautiful dance performance by Rita Lobo and team. Them based skit performance from Steven D’Silva and team entertain the gathering. The general secretary Antony Gonsalves gave vote of thanks. The programme ended with a delicious dinner by Crystal Caterers.

Kiran D’Souza was the moderator of the programme. Past chairman Edward D’Souza, the current vice chairman Robert Cutinha and current cultural secretary Anitha Golmes co-ordinated the programme.
