Bantwal: More than 150 dolls to be part of international cultural jamboori at Moodbidri

Bantwal, Dec 19: More than 150 dolls of Kalladka Shilpagombe balaga of various shapes, sizes and hinged horses are ready to participate in the international cultural jamboori that will be held at Moodbidri on Wednesday by Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Mohan Alva has been supporting several artists through Alvas Nudisiri and Alvas Virasat during the last 25 years.

The world of dolls will open up with children as the centre of attraction. The dolls such as Mickey Mouse, Mini Mouse, Motu, Patlu, Masha, Tom and Jerry, Chhota Bheem, Donald Duck etc will be seen in the programme.

The Gombe Balaga had introduced dolls in the district 37 years ago. They have participated in several programmes in the state.
