The majestic procession, led by the idol of Goddess Sharada, began on Thursday evening from the temple premises in Kudroli and returned there by Friday morning. The immersion ceremony, known as Jalastambhana, was performed at dawn, symbolising the spiritual conclusion of the ten-day festivities.
The colourful event witnessed the participation of lacs of devotees lining the streets of Mangaluru to witness the vibrant tableaux, traditional performances, and cultural displays.

The 9-kilometre-long procession route started from Kudroli and passed through major city landmarks including Mannagudda, Ladyhill Narayana Guru Circle, Lalbagh, Ballalbagh, P V S Circle, K S Rao Road, Hampankatta, and V V College Junction, before turning towards Ganapathy High School Road. It continued past Sri Venkataramana Temple, proceeded via Car Street and Alake, and finally returned to the temple.
Over 70 decorative tableaux, including those from local temples, cultural associations, and community organisations, added grandeur to the event. Traditional folk performances such as 'Hulivesha' (tiger dance) and other artistic displays captivated the crowds throughout the night.
