Bantwal: Woman’s gold chain snatched by bike-borne thief

Bantwal, Oct 5: A woman walking by the roadside was robbed of her gold chain by an unidentified bike rider near Dasakodi on the national highway on October 4 evening.

The victim, identified as Saraswathi, a resident of Chende in Baltila village, lost a gold chain weighing around two pavans, valued at approximately Rs 2 lac.
 


According to reports, Saraswathi had travelled to Kalladka town and was returning home by bus. After alighting at the Dasakodi petrol pump bus stop, she was walking towards her house along the highway when the unidentified man approached her from behind on a bike, snatched the chain from her neck, and sped away towards Mani.

A complaint has been lodged at Bantwal town police station.

    Ladies never learn .Wth so many gold chain snatchers around women wear open still their gold chain.Either cover with pallow or takeout chain during your walk in public area keep it in bag.
