Udupi: Dr Laxmiprasad to Attend International Conference on Ayurveda at Bangkok

Udupi, Aug 19: Prof Dr Laxmiprasad of SDM Ayurveda College, will attend the international conference on 'Ayurveda and complementary systems of medicine', to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from Thursday August 21 to Saturday August 30.

This was announced by Dr Krishnaraj Bhat, father of Dr Laxmiprasad, at a press conference, held here on Tuesday August 19. He will deliver a lecture on ancient and modern methods of preparing drugs on Friday August 22, and present a paper on allergies in Ayurveda on Saturday August 23.

Dr Laxmiprasad will lecture on Ayurveda science and philosophy on Monday August 25 and give a talk on 'panchakarma' procedures on Wednesday August 27. The valedictory ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 28.

He will be conducting a consultation session at Anantara Resort, Spa, and Grand Spa. Dr Laxmiprasad was also present at the press meet.
