Mangalore, Aug 20: The Dakshina Kannada Energy Support Initiatives (ESI) will organize a symposium on 'Indo-US Nuclear Agreement' at the St. Aloysius College here on August 21.
ESI convener, Ivan D'souza said that Central Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman M Veerappa Moily will inaugurate the symposium and Mangalore Regional Science director Prof K V Rao will preside over the function.
Speaking in a press conference here on Monday August 19, he informed that G R Srinivasan, former vice-chairman for Central Atomic Energy Regulatory Board and Dr S A Pandith, former additional director for Central Atomic Minerals Directorate of Exploration and Research will deliver lecture on 'Nuke deal-Its advantages and disadvantages'.
There would be an interaction session in the programme.
