Mangalore: Passengers Served Sedatives, Robbed in Mathsyagandha Train

Mangalore, Aug 21: Two passengers were robbed off their belongings after they were allegedly served sedatives in Mathsyagandha train on Wednesday August 20.

The passengers were found unconscious in the train after train reached Mangalore Central Railway Station on Wednesday afternoon. They have been hospitalized in Wenlock Hospital.

One of the passengers has been identified as Chandra Naik from Karkala. Police could not find address and name of another passenger as he was still unconscious till evening.

    it is very dangerous situation in train. we have to take care in train Food sellers etc. But railway authority must impose strict rules ,Means permitted food sellers only enter train and serve good food. others are not permitted.Security is most imp in the time of journey.Thank You.

    Railway authorities should not allow unauthorised food, drink sellers in the train.
