Mangalore, Nov 24: A free medical camp with physiotherapy and blood donation was held in Kurnad, near Mudipu, from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm on Sunday November 23. MLA U T Khader inaugurated the camp and in his address, he emphasized the need for health professionals in rural areas.
All sorts of medical and physiotherapy check-ups were arranged with specialist doctors and experts. Experts from the government Wenlock Hospital and Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, were present at the camp.
A C Bhandary, member, zilla panchayat, presided over the programme. Dr Suchitra Rao talked of the need for medical camps.Hundreds of local residents attended the camp.
