Mangalore: One Injured Following Assault

Mangalore, Feb 2: One person was seriously injured after he was assaulted in the vicinity of Car Street in the city on Sunday February 1.

Manjunath (28), the injured, has been admitted to a private hospital.  The incident ccured on V T Road  in while he was on the way to his home in Bajilakeri.

He has identified his attackers as Guruprasad, Harish, and Bharath.

A case has been registered at Bunder police station. According to the police, the reason for the attack was a personal matter. It is said that Manjunath was told to stop drinking and his refusal attracted the wrath of the other three.
