Beltangady: BJP Second List on February 13 - DVS

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Feb 2: BJP State unit president and Mangalore MP D V Sadanand Gowda said that his party will come out with the second list of Loksabha candidates on February 13.

Speaking to reporters at Guruyankere near here on Sunday February 1, Gowda informed that a final decision about the party's candidate from Mangalore seat will be taken by the fifth of this month. The second list will come out after the state BJP election committee holds meeting on February 12 and 13, he said.

In reply to the Congress spat that he had run away from facing defeat in Mangalore constituency, he said the Congressmen are worried over the increasing sway of the BJP over the people here. "I have decided to contest from Udupi for strengthening the organizational set up in the twin-districts. As the Udupi MP has left the BJP, I have consented to fight the election from there. Moreover, if the party leaders so desire, I am even prepared to enter the election fray from Kashmir," he declared.

Mr. DV, dont think you are as famous as Atalji or Modi to go and fight elections in Kashmir? You cannot win elections in Mangalore if you contest from any other party other than the BJP. Its BJP that helped you become Mangalore MP.
