After Samajwadi Party MLA, Abu Azmi, was assaulted by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena legislators led by Ram Kadam in the assembly for taking oath in Hindi, supporters of Azmi went about ransacking shops, damaging buses and auto rickahws at Govandi area in the city on Monday.
