All the accused are currently in judicial custody. During the arrest, most of them were taken into police custody for interrogation.

Another accused, Bharathraj alias Bharath Kumdelu (29), is still absconding. The police stated that the accused have been involved for several years in criminal activities, including murder, attempt to murder, and delivering provocative speeches, thereby disturbing social harmony and inciting communal tension.

Based on this, and with the approval of the Inspector General of Police, Western Range, a case has been registered under the KCOCA, and further investigation is underway.
